The naming ceremony of the 1.840 m³ twin screw trailing suction hopper dredger “MAHURY” is taking place today at MTG Dolphin Shipyard in Varna, Bulgaria.
The new dredger is Dutch Dredging’s fourth IHC-built vessel, after the ALBATROS, LESSE and AMAZONE.
The vessel will be capable of dredging with one trailing suction pipe up to depths of 30 meters, delivering the spoil either into the hopper, or directly overboard.
